  1. Trim wicks 1/4 " before each lighting to prevent uneven burning
  2. Allow candle to burn at least 3 - 4 hours the first burn to prevent tunneling.
  3. Do not burn candle more than 4 hours at a time.
  4. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  5. Keep away from children and pets
  6. Keep away from flammable materials
  7. Keep candle on a flat fire-resistant surface
  8. When not in use, use a lid to prevent dust and dirt build-up
  9. Use a snuffer to put out flame

Tunneling

Candles have a memory so it is important to trim wick before each burn and allow candle to burn at least 3-4 hours or reach a full melt pool the first burn to prevent tunneling.

Soot

If your candle is beginning to produce soot, trim your wick routinely, keep your candle away from drafts, and make sure to extinguish candle properly.
