I Honestly Don't Know...šŸ¤

I’ve missed this—building this community, hearing your feedback, and seeing your support. It truly means more than you know.

As excited as I am to get started back with Light Work, I have to be honest: I don’t really know what to say or what to do.

Usually, I can write on a whim and come up with something encouraging to share, but this season has been really heavy. Part of me doesn’t quite know what to say or exactly how to encourage you. Yes, there’s scripture. There are truths I know and things I could say, but right now, nothing is quite resonating with me.

So, what exactly do we do when we don’t know what to do? When we don’t know what to say? When we don’t even know how to feel?

Sometimes, there’s nothing for us to do—and maybe that’s the answer.

We live in such a work-based society. Our brains are wired to constantly be working, producing, fixing, or performing. We’ve become so accustomed to doing that sometimes we don’t know how to simply be, especially when life demands a different version of us.

In this season of grief and finding my footing again, I’m learning that it’s okay not to have the answers. It’s okay to be quiet and not force conversations when you don’t have the words. And when someone asks how you’re doing, it’s okay to be honest and say, ā€œI don’t know.ā€

Every season demands a different version of us. So give yourself grace for whatever season you’re in. You don’t always have to know what comes next.

Sometimes, you’re allowed to simply be.
