Hey friends,
I truly hope you're all doing well. With so much happening in our world right now, it can feel overwhelming at times. Between the shifts in politics, challenges in the economy, climate concerns, and just the constant stream of news, weāre reminded daily that life is filled with uncertainties. Thatās why itās so important to take a step back and refocus on what matters most: God.
When I sat down to write this, I had a page of ideas ready to go, but none seemed quite right. So instead, I thought Iād simply check in and offer a few words of encouragement for anyone who might need it. In times like these, I believe itās crucial to set aside the noise and distractions and turn our hearts and minds back to God.
I know it may seem like every day brings something new we have to adjust to. It feels like everyoneās searching for answers or solutions, trying to make sense of things. As Christians, though, we have a unique source of hope and peace. When we spend time in Godās Word, we see that many of todayās events arenāt unexpected. Weāre reminded that we serve a God who not only holds the future but has already worked it out.
How often are we weighed down by worries or uncertainties over things that God already knows and has handled? The things that surprise us never surprise Him. He exists outside of time, seeing the beginning and the end, knowing every detail.
I know itās not always easy to see things this way. But when I take a step back, refocus, and remember that God is in control, Iām reminded of His unshakable peace. So letās take time each day to connect with Himāwhether through prayer, journaling, reading Scripture, or simply sitting quietly in His presence. Letās invite Him into every area of our lives.
James 4:8 says, "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." Heās always there, waiting to meet us, especially in our uncertainty. If I could leave you with one more verse, it would be this: āWhat time I am afraid, I will trust in theeā (Psalm 56:3).
Letās place our trust in the One who holds the future. Whatever comes our way, remember that we are safe in His hands.
Iām praying for you all, until next time...ā£ļø
